BetaFair Platform Policies

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose

This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs payments, wallet top-ups, and the use of BetaCredits (BC) on the BetaFair platform. It defines when refunds may be considered and when they are excluded.

2. Nature of BetaCredits

BetaCredits are internal, non-transferable utility units used exclusively to access and participate in campaigns on BetaFair.

BetaCredits are not:

• Legal tender
• Cryptocurrency
• E-money
• An investment or financial security

3. No Refunds After Participation

Once BetaCredits are used to participate in a campaign:

• No refunds will be issued
• No reversals will be processed
• No chargebacks are permitted

4. Limited Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only if all of the following apply:

• BetaCredits have not been used
• No campaign participation has occurred
• No fraud or abuse indicators exist

Approval of refunds is at the sole discretion of BetaFair.

5. Campaign Cancellation

BetaFair may cancel campaigns due to:

• Technical failures
• Security risks
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Fraud detection

Where a campaign is cancelled before execution, unused BetaCredits may be restored to the user's wallet.

KYC & Winner Verification Policy

1. Purpose

Identity verification protects the integrity of the platform and ensures lawful transfer of campaign assets.

2. When Verification Is Required

• Upon selection as a campaign winner
• Before asset transfer
• When suspicious activity is detected
• When required by law

3. Verification Data

Users may be asked to provide:

• Full legal name
• Government identification
• Proof of address
• Photograph or live verification

4. Verification Outcomes

• Approval
• Request for additional documentation
• Rejection

Failure to provide valid documents may result in disqualification from the campaign.

Community Guidelines & Anti-Fraud Policy

Prohibited Activities

• Use of bots, automation, or scripts
• Creation of multiple accounts
• Campaign manipulation
• Submission of forged documents
• Abuse of refund or payment systems

Fraud Monitoring

BetaFair employs automated and manual systems including:

• Device fingerprinting
• IP analysis
• Behavior monitoring
• Anomaly detection

Enforcement

BetaFair may suspend or terminate accounts, cancel participations, or block wallets where violations occur.
